Accountant

Reports to the CFO

We’re seeking an analytical Company Accountant to support our Financial Controller and the business in the delivery of high-quality financial processes. You’ll be responsible for maintaining financial, accounting, cash management, administrative and personnel services in order to meet legislative requirements and support operations for all companies in the group.

Key responsibilities

For all group companies administer and monitor the financial system (Xero) in order to ensure the group finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Manage invoices, supplier payments and employee expenses
  • Maintain the creditors, debtors and general ledger
  • Oversee monthly payroll
  • Process intercompany transactions and agree monthly intercompany balances
  • Prepare and file GST / VAT returns
  • Reconcile key accounts, credit cards and balance sheet accounts
  • AR management
  • Administer cash management and corporate credit cards processes
  • Monitor daily cash positions and initiate transfers of cash as required
  • Assist with month-end financial processes
  • Assist with the annual audit
  • Undertake filing and other duties as directed by management

Key requirements

  • At least three years practical experience in accounts or bookkeeping
  • Experience with accounts payable, account receivable and payroll experience
  • Part or fully CA qualified preferred
  • Attention to detail is key
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Knowledge and experience using cloud-based accounting tools, e.g. Xero, Receipt Bank

Senior Test Automation Engineer

Reports to the Delivery Manager

In this newly created Auckland-based role you’ll be setting up our performance testing practice working alongside our Quality Practice Lead and championing anything Test Automation related.

You’ll work closely with developers, fellow QAs and product people to ensure the quality of new releases of our highly scalable solution for some of the world’s largest retail brands. In this role you will:

  • Determine and champion our automation and performance testing strategy to assist in the successful overall delivery of our product to clients
  • Develop and lead our automation, performance and load testing
  • Plan, design, implement, execute, and maintain automated test framework and tools to enable performance testing and analysis on client and web-based applications
  • Communicate effectively to both technical and operational audiences regarding performance, in writing and in person

About you

  • Solid understanding of non-functional testing concepts outside of performance testing
  • 4+ years proven experience in Test Automation and software vendor testing
  • Familiarity with a range of automated testing technologies including API integration testing, web interface as well as mobile testing frameworks
  • Working experience in any object-oriented programming language (C# is desirable)
  • Understanding of REST and SOAP web services, JSON, XML
  • Communication and leadership skills.
  • Agile working experience would be ideal

Quality Practice Lead

Reports to the Head of Engineering

Based at our headquarters in Auckland, the primary responsibility of the Quality Practice Lead is to provide leadership around engineering quality as well as the management of our Quality Assurance Engineers.

This includes but is not limited to the fostering of disciplines, practices, automation and methods to run a highly effective QA practice and quality focus across engineering. The Quality Practice Lead must come from a strong software implementation background with a solid grounding in quality assurance and automation. The Quality Practice Lead will also have a good understanding of the technology aspects involved in the delivery of highly technical projects and will ideally have actively practiced in a hands on technology role at some point in their career.

The Quality Practice Lead must also embrace and champion quality across the engineering group and lean towards a servant-leadership philosophy.

The Quality Practice Lead role reports to the Head of Engineering and requires close working relationships in the technology business unit along with peers within the customer business unit.

Based in Auckland but working for Plexure Account Management to service our Plexure accounts around the globe. The PM will represent Plexure client interests and work with the Engineering Delivery Manager to ensure identified projects are delivered on time and within budget to meet client expectations.

Consultant (pre sales) - Auckland / USA

Reports to the Chief Customer Officer

The Plexure Solution offers customers a scalable platform to manage mobile engagement and marketing to their customer base.

As such, alongside the platform licence, Plexure offers consultancy from individuals with relevant CRM and Data Marketing skillsets, to assist our customers to understand the marketing opportunity through the data reporting and analytics made available via the platform.

The Plexure Consultant shall be responsible for both supporting sales to pitch Plexure to new customers, as well as delivering funded CRM consulting advice to existing customers. This will require a close working relationship with the HoData Science and the Data Analytics team.

The role carries a revenue target for consulting services delivered.

DevOps Practice Lead

The DevOps Practice Lead must come from a strong software engineering or cloud infrastructure background with a solid grounding in technical cloud operations and automation. The DevOps Practice Lead will also have a good understanding of the technology aspects involved in the delivery of highly technical software projects.

The DevOps Practice Lead must also embrace and lead the DevOps ethos across the engineering group and lean towards a servant-leadership philosophy.

The DevOps Practice Lead role reports to the Head of Engineering and requires close working relationships in the technology business unit along with peers within the customer business unit.

Requirements for the role

  1. Building and leading the DevOps practice.
  2. Ensures operational quality is built into all software delivery projects.
  3. Deploying and managing resources for engineering operations.
  4. A deep understanding of SOA as it relates to customer facing applications in the cloud.
  5. A deep understanding of SOA as it relates to customer facing applications in the cloud.
  6. Technical leadership experience of 5-8 years.
  7. Experience with cloud based infrastructure and services such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services..
  8. Understanding of CD/CI methodologies and how they work.
  9. Experience in orchestration platforms.
  10. Experience in configuration management (e.g. chef).
  11. Experience with third-party monitoring and logging services (e.g. Cloudwatch, New Relic).
  12. Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
  13. Proven development and scripting background (e.g. PowerShell, bash, python).
  14. Good knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
  15. Understanding of networking and network security.
