Media Release – Microsoft showcases VMob technology at the world's biggest retail trade show
VMob (VMob Group Limited: VML) is currently exhibiting with Microsoft at the world's largest retail trade show in New York.
The National Retail Federation in the US hosts this show once a year and this is the show's 104th year. The show exists to connect the world's retailers with suppliers that can help make their businesses more profitable. It is attended by more than 27,000 retail professionals and vendors from more than 80 countries. Senior retail executives from the world's largest retailers are in attendance and Microsoft is introducing them to VMob's technology.
VMob is set up inside the Microsoft booth at the entrance to the exhibition hall and has three days of scheduled meetings with a wide range of potential customers including Marks and Spencer, Avis, Nord- strom, Macy’s, Tesco, H&M, Sainsbury’s, Estee Lauder, Kohl’s, Walmart and Starbucks. Access to senior executives from this many companies would normally take years but with VMob's strong Microsoft partnership it takes just days. This is why Microsoft is such an important channel partner for VMob, opening doors to senior executives of some of the biggest brands in the US, AsiaPac and Europe.
Throughout each day of the show Scott Bradley (CEO) and Christopher Dawson (Strategy Director) will use a McDonald's case study to conduct live demonstrations of VMob's platform for Microsoft's biggest retail customers.
